Dam Instrumentation, Monitoring, Performance Assessment & Capacity Training (DIMPACT-2026) is a short-term leadership and training program jointly organized by the Central Water Commission (CWC), Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India, and ITCOLD (Italian Committee on Large Dams).
The program aims to foster collaboration between Italian and Indian institutions, providing a platform to exchange technical expertise, share best practices, and strengthencapabilities in dam safety management. Italy, a European leader in the sector, will share its
extensive experience in seismic safety assessment, hydraulic risk management, and rehabilitation activities for existing dams through classroom sessions, expert dialogues, and technical site visits.
All nominated participants of DIMPACT-2026 are required to complete this registration form. The information provided will be used by ITCOLD and the logistical partner GIRATLANTIDE to:
- Issue official letters of invitation for visa processing.
- Arrange accommodation, local travel, and logistical support.
- Facilitate program coordination and communication before and during the conclave.
At the end of the form, participants are requested to complete the Participant Questionnaire, which will help the organizers and faculty understand your professional background, expectations, and specific areas of interest.
Your responses will enable presenters and session leads to better tailor the content to participants’ needs and priorities in dam safety governance.
